As part of this work, an automated control system (ACS) for wood drying processes has been proposed. The system controls the physical processes that take place in the wood-drying chamber. The authors of the article presented a functional diagram of an automated control system (ACS) of the equipment and a detailed description of the principles of its operation. The main stages of creation and examples of the expert system (ES) «FCTD1», designed to diagnose the automated control system of the drying chamber and allows troubleshooting of its functional blocks, are considered.
