The quality of life is a subjective-objective characteristic of a person's life, which describes the many possible components of a person's life, directly affecting his satisfaction with life. The author proposes to apply methods of cognitive modeling in the field of quality of life research. Cognitive models of the quality of life will be interesting not only to researchers of the quality of life, but can be useful for other branches of knowledge, where subjective characteristics of respondents' satisfaction with their lives are needed, as well as in the applied field in support of decision-making.
